Friday Night Activities

8 pm – 12 am 
Christmas on Main Benefit Dance at the New Holland American Legion, 35 S. Hoover Ave.  Tickets are $20.00 per person.  Proceeds will benefit the New Holland Area Historical Society.  For more information or to buy tickets contact Connie Eckert at 354-6846.


Event Informaiton for SATURDAY

8 - 11 am 
Breakfast with Santa at St. Stephen United Church of Christ, 249 East Main Street.  Free breakfast and children's crafts.


9 am - 4 pm
The Christmas Market  inside the Farmer’s Fair building at the corner of South Roberts Avenue and Franklin Street.  Local vendors selling a variety of items including gifts, Christmas decorations and food for your holiday entertaining.


9 am – 7 pm
Fix My Computer Please, 205 East Main Street, will be open with special deals on laptops.  Register to win a gift certificate.


Hicks’ Clock Shoppe, 215 East Main Street. Register to win a Kit Cat wall clock. 10 to 25% off all stock items.
 
9 am - 8 pm
New Holland Flea Market, 148 East Main Street.  Stop in and register to win a gift basket.  Light refreshments.


10 am - 3 pm
Friends of the Library Holiday Book Sale at the Elanco Library, 11 Chestnut Drive. New and used books for sale.


10 am - 5 pm
Lucky Dog Thrift Shop, 158 East Main Street, invites you to Lucky's Christmas Carnival. Enjoy games, prizes and drawings for gift baskets.

10 am - 6 pm
Von Gehr Jewelry Shoppe, 203 East Main Street.  Register to win a gift certificate.


10 am – 7 pm
Legacy Used Books and Collectibles, 145 East Main Street, welcomes you with a holiday display featuring "Dickens Village" lighted shops and houses.


10 am - 8 pm
The New Holland Historical Society Museum, 207 East Main Street. Stop in and view their great collection of New Holland area treasures.  Santa visits from 11 am - 1 pm. 


11 am - 1 pm
Santa visits the New Holland Area Historical Society Museum, 207 East Main Street.

11 am - 5 pm

Pas De Chat, 107 East Main Street, will host a "Beary" Merry Christmas.  Bears for sale. Children's stories from 2 pm - 5 pm.


11 am - 7 pm
Food Vendors on South Roberts Avenue.


11 am - 9 pm
Lickity Split, 209 E. Main Street will offer house specials all day.  Register to win a door prize.


Noon - 7 pm
Tangles Hair Studio, 112 East Main Street, will be open with specials on hair products, giveaways, prize drawings and jewelry sales.

1 - 3 pm
Mrs. Santa visits the Christmas Market to read to children.


Bring your camera and your pet to the corner of Roberts and Main for Pet Pictures with Santa.  We provide Santa but please bring your own camera!


1 - 4 pm
Meet Alpacas from Eastland Alpaca Farm at the south end of Roberts Avenue in front of the Christmas Market.


1 - 7 pm
Theraflex Massage, 143A East Main Street presents Marty's Flea Circus at noon, 2 pm and 4 pm.


2 - 4:30 pm
Petra Christian Fellowship will bring their children's train ride to Christmas on Main at the south end of Roberts Avenue near the Christmas Market.


2 - 5 pm
Children’s Crafts & Activities at New Holland United Methodist Church, 120 West Main Street.


Children's story time featuring Christmas bear stories at Pas de Chat, 107 East Main Street.


Evangelical United Methodist Church, 276 West Main Street, invites you to a coat giveaway for all ages and free Christmas shopping for children ages 12 and under.


2 - 6  pm
Stauffer’s Drug Store, 149 East Main Street will be open.  Register to win a gift basket.  Face painting from 3 – 5 pm.


2:30 - 6:30
New Holland Area Food Bank at Trinity Lutheran Church, 221 East Main Street will hold an Open House with hot cider and cookies.  Monetary donations and donations of nonperishable food will be accepted.

2 - 7 pm
The Cross Connection will be giving out free coffee, hot chocolate and candy canes at the corner of Roberts Avenue and Main Street.


3 - 3:45 pm
Trinity Lutheran Church, 221 East Main Street, will present a "Mini Afternoon of Music" featuring favorite Advent and Christmas music. 


3 - 5 pm
Face painting by the Kiwanis Club of New Holland at Stauffer’s Drug Store, 149 East Main Street.


3 - 6 pm
An Ice Carving Demonstration throughout the afternoon by Kerrick Nettke of Crystal Cuts Ice Sculpture at the corner of Roberts Avenue and Main Street.


Shear Artistry, 109A East Main Street. Light Refreshments. Register to win a gift basket of products and a salon gift certificate valued at $125.


The YMCA at New Holland will have raffles and activities in the Stauffer's Drug Store parking lot at the corner of Railroad Avenue and Main Street.  Staff members will answer your questions about YMCA memberships and programs.


3 - 7 pm

Studio 23 Hair Salon, 129 East Main Street.  Enter a drawing for free products and services. Live music from 6 - 7 pm.


C D & S Sandwiches and Bakery, 114 East Main Street, will be open featuring free homemade Christmas cookies.


3:30 - 4:30
Signature Dance Studio will perform a variety of dance styles to Christmas music in the Loeffler Pitt Dental Associates parking lot near the corner of Roberts Avenue and Main Street.


4 - 5 pm
Strolling musicians from Music on Main will be performing a variety of music throughout the downtown area.


4 - 5:30 pm
Acoustical music performance by Bart Delp at Edward Jones Investments, 201 East Main Street.


4 - 7 pm
Carriage Rides leaving from Trinity Lutheran Church, 221 East Main Street and Boswell’s Restaurant, 140 West Main Street.  Carriage rides are one way only, so plan to stroll back through town or wait for the next carriage.

View a Live Nativity presented by Lighthouse Assembly of God in front of Gehman's  Accounting, 121 East Main Street.


4 - 7 pm
Stop in and warm up by the fire at Loeffler-Pitt Dental Associates, 100 East Main Street.  Open house, giveaways and light refreshments.


Toys for Tots collection by the SquireSide Cafe at the corner of Roberts Avenue and Main Street.


Collection of nonperishable food for the New Holland Area Food Bank by New Holland Auto Group at the corner of Roberts Avenue and Main Street. 

Edward Jones Investments, 201 E. Main Street. Free Hot Chocolate Bar. Live music.


Boswell's Restaurant, 140 West Main Street, free apple strudel.


Join Science Explorers and investigate the world of hands on science at Boswell's Restaurant, 140 West Main Street.

Kling and Fanning, 131 W. Main Street. Open house with refreshments and live music.

Matthew Marte Agency, Nationwide Insurance, 128 West Main Street. Open house with giveaways and light refreshments.


Vintage on Main, 135 East Main Street, will offer light refreshments and a door prize drawing.

5:00 pm
Santa’s Arrival (with a little help from Garden Spot Fire & Rescue) at the corner of North Roberts Avenue and Main Street.


5 – 6 pm
New Holland Band Brass Ensemble performing along Main Street. 

Garden Spot High School Vocal Ensemble will sing Christmas carols as they stroll through downtown New Holland.


Bagpiper, Jason Bachman, will perform in the Stauffer's Drug Store Parking lot at the corner of North Railroad Avenue and Main Street.


5 - 7 pm
New Holland Ambulance Association will be having a coat and food drive and will have cookies, hot cider and handouts for kids near 116 East Main Street.


6 - 7 pm
The Sneller Family  will bring their musical talents on the piano, harp, violin, recorder and flute to the New Holland United Methodist Church, 120 West Main Street. 


The Music on Main jazz group will be entertaining at Studio 23 Hair Salon, 129 East Main Street.


Radiance String Quartet will perform at Edward Jones Investments, 201 East Main Street.


Community Natural Food Store, 128 East Main Street, offer an in house sampling of selected food and nutritional products and 10% off selected items.


6:30 pm
Join the New Holland Mennonite Church for Christmas carols before the Tree Lighting at the corner of Roberts Avenue and Main Street.


7 pm
Community Christmas Tree Lighting at the corner of North Roberts Avenue and Main Street. 


7:15 pm 
Christmas Tea at New Holland United Methodist Church, 120 West Main Street. End the evening with homemade Christmas cookies, coffee tea and punch.
